Change the layout and formatting of the text

This manual covers all details of changing the general layout and look and feel of the text within the selected element.

Text category

Click on the icon of the category "text" (see image on the right). The content below shows only the options to adjust everything related to text.

Change the text color

Click on the element you want to edit. That element will then automatically light up. Then click on one of the colors. The text color is immediately applied to the text in the selected element.

The block at the top left with the red line through it removes the current text color.

Change text size

In the image to the right you see the icon for text size. In the field next to it you can see which text size is used. If it is on auto, the website will search for a previously default text size. For example the text size set for the surrounding element or in the text size in the applied style.

To apply a text size, set this field. You immediately see the effect of the adjustment. This makes it easy to try out different options quickly.

Change the line height

In the image to the right you see the icon for line height. In the field next to it you can see which line height is used. If it is on auto, the website will look for a previously set line height. For example in a surrounding element or in a style.

To apply a line height, set this field. You immediately see the effect of your adjustments. This makes it easy to try out different options quickly.

Text alignment

In the accompanying figure you see the field for setting the text alignment. The icons represent left-aligning, centering, right-aligning and aligning both left and right. The alignment is immediately applied when you click on the button.
